contemporary).
2. Music Theory for Film Songs:
- Basics of Indian and Western music theory.
- Introduction to scales, chords, and keys used in film
songs.
- Understanding melody, harmony, and rhythm in film
compositions.
3. Vocal Techniques for Film Songs:
- Voice training exercises (breathing, vocal range, and
pitch control).
- Understanding voice modulation, dynamics, and
expression.
- Techniques for sustaining long notes and transitions
between different vocal registers.
4. Raga-based Film Songs:
- Learning popular raga-based film songs.
- Understanding how classical ragas are adapted in film
compositions.
5. Genres within film Music:
- Romantic Songs: Techniques for singing smooth and
expressive romantic melodies.
- Folk-inspired Film Songs: Learning songs that are based on
regional or folk traditions.
- Devotional Film Songs: Songs with spiritual or devotional
themes.
6. Rhythm (Taal) and Tempo Practice:
- Understanding different time signatures and rhythmic
patterns used in film music.
- Familiarity with basic and complex taals
7. Expression and Emoting in Film Songs:
- Techniques to convey emotion (romance, sorrow, joy, etc.)
while singing.
- Using facial expressions and body language for enhancing
performance.

using headphones, and layering vocals.
11. Performance and Stage Presence:
- Developing confidence and stage presence.

(keyboard, guitar, etc.).

performance dynamics.
12. Regular Listening and Analysis:
- Analyzing famous film music compositions for better
understanding of styles and techniques.
