4. Simple Compositions
- Learning simple Bandish (compositions) in various Ragas
- Practice of Aroha (ascending) and Avaroha (descending)
scales
5. Layakari (rhythmic practice)
- Basic practice of Taalas (e.g., Teen
Taal,Dadra,Keharava,Bhajan,Jhap Taal)
Intermediate Level (2-5 years)
1. Raga Expansion
- In-depth study of Ragas (e.g., Todi, Kafi,Bhairav)
- Understanding Raga variations and nuances
2. Complex Compositions
- Learning more complex Bandish and Cheez(compositions)
- Practice of Gamakas (ornaments) and Bols(vocal percussive
syllables)
3. Layakari Development - Advanced practice of Taalas (e.g.,
Ek Taal,Rupak Taal)
- Introduction to complex rhythmic patterns
4. Swar Vistar (note expansion)
- Practice of advanced Swara combinations and patterns
